Privacy Notice
This notice explains what information the PESO employment portal uses, why it is needed, who may access it, how long it is retained, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.
Information we collect
We process account and contact details, jobseeker profiles, résumés and documents, employer accreditation records, job posts, applications, interview schedules, notifications, helpdesk conversations, walk-in service records, and security activity needed to operate the service.
Why we use it
Information is used to verify users, match jobseekers to vacancies, process applications, support employer hiring, provide PESO assistance, prevent abuse, deliver important updates, and prepare lawful operational reports.
Who can access it
Authorized PESO personnel may access records required for their duties. Accredited employers receive only the application and profile information needed for jobs the jobseeker applied to. Private documents are delivered through controlled, logged access.
Retention and protection
Application records are normally retained for up to 24 months and security events for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is required by law, an active dispute, audit, or PESO records policy. The portal uses access controls, session revocation, upload validation, audit logs, and private storage.
Your choices and rights
- Access or export information connected to your account.
- Correct incomplete or inaccurate information.
- Control profile visibility and optional notification delivery.
- Request deletion or anonymization, subject to applicable legal and operational retention.
- Ask how a decision or record was handled and raise a privacy concern with PESO.
Signed-in jobseekers can submit a tracked request from Settings → Data & Privacy. Employers and other users can use the PESO Helpdesk.
